The Vincennes training center is led by state instructor, Kevin Russell. Kevin Russell started his career in 1976 when he signed up into the Bricklayers Union. He started working for his uncle, Phillip Russell, whom owned and operated S & R Masonry based out of Linton, Indiana. Kevin is a third generation Brickmason and has one son who is also a mason. He started running work in his early 20’s and continued to do so throughout his career. Russell has had the privilege of working around some true craftsmen over the years. His favorite part of masonry is the sense of accomplishment after completing a project. Russell’s career took a turn in August of 2014 when he was given the opportunity to become an apprentice instructor for BAC Local 4 IN/KY. He enjoys teaching the apprentices and likes to see the progress the apprentices gain from year to year.
Located within Vincennes University, the training center is home to the Evansville and Terre Haute Chapter apprentice. |
